Nurse Practitioner

Alexandra Nowak, BScN, MSc, NP-PHC (NP Alex) is a pioneering figure in the field of functional medicine, renowned for her innovative approach to optimizing health. As the founder of iOptimal Functional Medicine, she has transformed the way individuals approach their well-being. With years of experience and a track record of improving the lives of thousands of clients, NP Alex is recognized as a leading authority in her field.

She is a specialist in Advanced Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and functional medicine, combining extensive clinical experience with advanced training, including BHRT certification through Worldlink Medical’s Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine, an MSc in Nursing and Primary Care NP certificate from the University of Toronto, and medical training at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

NP Alex works collaboratively with patients to address root causes, restore balance, and support long-term wellness. She integrates cutting-edge medical science with functional medicine principles to deliver individualized, patient-centered care.

 

Heba

Heba Mansour, MD, M.B, B.CH., LMCC

International medical Doctor

Dr. Heba Mansour is an International Physician with a strong background in primary care and Integrative Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.B., B.Ch.) from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University in Egypt in 2003. 

Dr. Mansour began her medical career as a Primary Care Physician, gaining extensive experience in comprehensive patient assessments, chronic disease management, women’s health, and preventive care. This foundation shaped her holistic, patient-centered approach, which remains central to her practice today.

After relocating to Canada, Dr. Mansour successfully completed the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examinations and holds the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), reflecting her compliance with Canadian Medical Standards and clinical competence.

With a special interest in Hormones and Metabolic Health, Dr. Mansour completed advanced training in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) through Worldlink Medical. This allows her to offer an evidence-informed, personalized, and integrative approach to hormonal balance, metabolic health, and healthy aging.

Dr. Mansour believes in treating the whole person—not just symptoms. She works closely with patients to understand their unique biology, lifestyle, and health goals, developing individualized care plans that focus on identifying root causes, restoring balance, and supporting long-term wellness.
