Alexandra Nowak, BScN, MSc, NP-PHC or “NP Alex”, is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Ontario servicing Ontario, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador. Alex was trained in BHRT by Dr. Neal Rouzier, MD from Worldlink Medical, which gives her a unique perspective on both the medical and integrative functional medicine world.
NP Alex believes that each person has individual needs and has their own set of life experiences, struggles and issues. She focuses on individualized treatment for those willing to comply with improving and optimizing their health outcomes. She is motivated to provide therapeutic options that are in the best interest of the client.
Fluent in English, Russian, Ukrainian and Polish.
Anastassia has a robust academic foundation in Kinesiology (BSc, Honours, 2002) and Neuromuscular Physiology (MSc, 2005) from York University, complemented by training in molecular biology and a Clinical Research Diploma (Humber College, 2008). She began her healthcare journey as a Registered Nurse in 2012, inspired by a passion for providing direct patient care and pursuing advanced practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
Since completing her MN/NP-PCP (Master of Nursing/Nurse Practitioner, Primary Healthcare Specialty) at the University of Toronto in 2017, Anastassia has gained extensive experience across acute care, oncology, operating room, and primary care settings.
Ian Vink is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) that holds his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Ian received his BSc from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. He then continued his education at Avalon University School of Medicine where he received his M.D.
Through his medical education, Ian has completed extensive research on polycystic ovarian syndrome and has been involved in preventive medicine and treatment plans along with bio-identical hormone replacement therapies.
